Community Dining & Nutritional Values

We have two tastefully decorated homely Dining Rooms within the community. Our dining tables are limited to four diners to ensure a relaxed and enjoyable experience. Each of our Dining Rooms have pantry kitchens which give residents the independence to make a snack, make a cup of tea or a coffee between meals.

A healthy diet is one based on a variety of foods eaten in correct proportions to provide the correct amount of energy (calories) and nutrients (protein, fats, carbohydrates, fibre, vitamins and minerals). This will ensure there is adequate nutrition every day to maintain body processes and protect oneself from ill health.

Food is not only necessary for life, but is also a source of great pleasure , with important social, cultural and religious functions.

As well as all day food being available, there are three dining times, breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea. Daily Menus are issued after consultation with the residents to ensure a wide variety and choice of meals.

Our meats, poultry, fish, dairy and vegetables are fresh and supplied from local producers ensuring our raw ingredients have the maximum nutritional values as well as enhanced flavour and taste.

We offer fresh juices as well as over 50 flavours of Bolero Essential Hydration Drinks, which have many health benefits, are sugar free with no artificial colours, flavourings or preservatives, are gluten and lactose free and contains vitamins A and C and delivering 37.5% of vitamin C per 250ml serving. Bolero can assist in reducing UTI’s and keeps the body hydrated, providing a healthier balance.
